TECHART

🇩🇪 Leonberg · Germany

Leonberg's long-standing Porsche house turns to air-cooled cars for the first time with the GTclassic, a 380PS interpretation of its own design language.

TECHART has spent close to four decades refining new Porsches from Leonberg, and the GTclassic (based on the 964 platform), revealed in 2026, is its first move onto a classic. The brief is explicitly additive rather than transformative: proportions, silhouette and character are left alone while the details are rebuilt around them. One-piece indicator units swallow the air intakes, LED headlights carry a modern daytime running signature, and handcrafted champagne trim threads from the nose to the one-piece LED tail lights and the ducktail spoiler. The air-cooled 3.8-litre naturally aspirated flat-six runs to 380PS in its strongest form, matched to a high-performance chassis, turbo brake system and motorsport engine mounts. An 18-inch two-piece Retrosport forged wheel reworks the Fuchs pattern, and the cabin pairs the in-house leather shop and Clubsport seats with a Hanhart stopwatch chrono package and a Porsche Classic Radio hiding CarPlay. Only 11 cars shall be produced.
