Models & builds

Ferdinand

Available to commission

Sportec's Ferdinand line takes the Porsche 964 (built between 1989 and 1994) and rebuilds it component by component using upgraded parts to deliver what the company describes as a new-car feel while retaining the original's character. The Ferdinand II runs a naturally aspirated 3.8 litre flat six with a sport camshaft, producing 325 PS and 394 Nm of torque at 5,380 rpm, paired with a centrally mounted dual exhaust tuned for a GT3-like boxer note, adjustable coilover suspension lowering the car by up to 30mm, a subtle ducktail spoiler and integrated side skirts. A further evolution, the Ferdinand S, steps up to a 4.0 litre unit producing 360 PS and 420 Nm for buyers wanting even sharper performance from the same platform.

SUB1000

Available to commission

Built from a G-model Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 rather than the later 964, the SUB1000 takes its name from its defining trait: a kerb weight of just 990kg. That figure comes from extensive use of carbon Kevlar for the doors, bumpers, bonnet, trunk lid and fenders, along with lightweight Makrolon polycarbonate rear windows, wrapped around a 3.4 litre flat six fitted with forged pistons, modified connecting rods and a sport camshaft to produce 270 hp and 340 Nm. Power reaches the rear wheels through a five-speed gearbox and a multi-plate limited-slip differential, with handling sharpened by three-way adjustable MCS suspension.

993 RBS

Available to commission

Sportec's 993 Restomod Backdate applies the same philosophy to the last of the air-cooled 911s, extensively reworking engine, chassis, wheels and interior on a car-by-car basis so that no two builds are quite alike. Engine work typically includes an increase in displacement to 3.8 litres, reworked connecting rods, an optimised compression ratio, reworked cylinder heads, uprated valve springs, sport camshafts and an additional oil cooler, building on Sportec's long-running engine tuning experience with the 993 platform.

964 Classic S

Available to commission

The 964 Classic forms the entry point into Sportec's backdate range, built on a Porsche 964 Carrera 4 with a steel body widened by around 30mm through more voluminous wheel arches, RSR-look 17 inch wheels shod in 205/50 front and 255/40 rear tyres, and …hlins Road and Track suspension offering individually adjustable rebound and compression damping alongside a ride height drop of up to 30mm. The Classic S sharpens this further with a 3.8 litre engine producing 325 hp and 394 Nm, paired with Recaro Classic seats trimmed in leather and fabric for a cabin that balances period style with everyday usability.

964 RS NGT

Available to commission

Unlike Sportec's other 964-based conversions, the RS NGT project is a preservation exercise rather than a restomod, a complete restoration of an original factory Porsche 964 Carrera RS N/GT, the NŸrburgring GT homologation special of which only around 290 were built. Sportec's work returned the car to its original specification, including its blueprinted M64/03 flat six producing 260 hp at 6,100 rpm through a G50 five-speed manual, a stripped interior with FIA-compliant Nomex bucket seats, harnesses and plywood footboards in place of carpet, and the model's original welded roll cage and long-range fuel tank, preserving a car around 155kg lighter than a standard 964.

964 RSR

Available to commission

Sportec's 964 RSR takes the Carrera 4 in a more uncompromising, track-oriented direction, built around a 3.8 litre engine producing 320 hp in a car weighing around 1,047kg while remaining fully road legal. The RSR Wing variant carries the same lightweight, race-bred approach but adds a prominent RSR-style rear wing for increased downforce, giving buyers a choice between the cleaner-bodied RSR and the more overtly motorsport-styled wing-equipped version depending on how visually aggressive they want the finished car to look.
