Gianotti Automotive approaches the restomod formula from the opposite direction to most: instead of modernising an old 911, it reclothes the modern Porsche 992 in reimagined classic bodywork. Its carbon-bodied programme pairs the 450hp water-cooled flat-six and seven-speed manual with a kerb weight around 1.075kg and improved aerodynamics. The result promises vintage proportions with full modern reliability, warranty-era mechanicals and current safety systems underneath. A young outfit betting that the next wave of restomodding starts from new cars.
