Rindt Vehicle Design

🇬🇧 Berkshire · United Kingdom

British Porsche house named after Jochen Rindt, now launching its own RSR and low-roof CHR bespoke 911s with 425 to 500bhp air-cooled engines.

Rindt Vehicle Design takes its name from Jochen Rindt, the Austrian who won Le Mans in 1965 and became Formula 1 world champion posthumously in 1970, and the workshop west of London leans hard on that racing lineage. The business spans three strands: restoration and servicing of 356s, 912s and 911s, a race arm running heritage and modern Porsches with arrive-and-drive packages, and now Rindt Bespoke, its own limited-edition line. Two models lead it, the RSR and the lower-roofline CHR, each offered with a 4.0-litre 24-valve air-cooled engine revving to 9,500rpm for 425bhp or a supercharged 4.0 making around 500bhp. With metalwork, paint, trim and engine building done in house across a team claiming some 90 years of combined Porsche experience, Rindt is moving from respected restorer to named-model builder.
