Rally-bred Porsche royalty. From Safari 911s to the 11,000rpm GT One, built on five decades of competition pedigree.
The Tuthill family has prepared Porsches for rallying since the 1970s, and that competition DNA defines everything the Oxfordshire workshop builds. Tuthill created the Safari 911 genre, campaigns cars in historic rallies worldwide, and its recent 992-based GT One, an 11,000rpm homage to the GT1, showed the ambition of the operation. Bespoke road builds benefit from genuine motorsport engineering rather than cosmetic nostalgia. For buyers who intend to drive their restomod hard, few names carry more credibility.
Models & builds
GT One
Limited series (22)Limited to 22 examples, the GT One began as a conversation between Richard Tuthill and client Elliot Ross, the film producer and car collector, with styling handled by California-based designer Florian Flatau. It draws its visual language from the FIA's GT1 racing class, introduced in 1993, whose homologation specials were built primarily to satisfy circuit regulations and often compromised everyday drivability as a result. The GT One inverts that priority, built as a full carbon fibre bodied grand tourer around a 4.0 litre flat six and engineered from the outset purely for road use, drawing on Tuthill's five decades of competition experience but aimed squarely at driving pleasure rather than lap times.

The K
Limited series (33)The K reinterprets Porsche's 911 S/T for the modern era, a run of 33 cars first shown at The Quail in 2022. It is built around a 3.1 litre short-stroke, four-valve flat six that revs to 11,000rpm, paired with a wet weight of just 850kg, a combination that drew praise from journalist Chris Harris and that founder Richard Tuthill has described as a simple, lightweight car built for drivers, with the mechanical ability to take on anything else out there, old or new. Beyond this Special Projects line, Tuthill also undertakes fully bespoke, one-off 911 commissions built to an individual client's specification, spanning street, rally and race applications.
from £850,000
LFG
Limited series (100)Built in partnership with Meyers Manx, the original creator of the fibreglass dune buggy, and designed with Freeman Thomas, the LFG is limited to 100 examples finished entirely in carbon fibre. Unveiled at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, it combines dune buggy character, able to switch from a fully enclosed, air conditioned cabin to a doorless open buggy in around two minutes, with Tuthill's rallying and engineering background. Ownership includes six years of curated global driving adventures organised by Tuthill, beginning with a 2027 Baja Tour timed to the 50th anniversary of Meyers Manx's outright win in the first Mexican 1000, the event now known as the Baja 1000.
