Carbon-bodied 993-generation 911s with 4.0-litre Rothsport engines. The analog Porsche perfected, limited to small series.
Where most Porsche restomodders start with the 964, Gunther Werks devotes itself to the 993, the last air-cooled 911. Its Remastered 400R and Speedster wear full carbon-fibre bodywork over a comprehensively re-engineered chassis, powered by a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six developed with Rothsport Racing. Current programs entail the Turbo and F26 ("Flachbau") based on the same 4.0-litre flat-six with twin-turbos pushing out up to 1,067 bhp. Builds are limited series rather than open commissions, and the company has built a reputation for engineering depth: suspension, aero and cooling are developed to modern GT-car standards rather than simply restored.
Models & builds
Turbo
Limited series (75)The Turbo introduces forced induction to the lineup, built around a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat six producing 850 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque through a Getrag 6-speed manual with custom gear ratios and a 40-percent locking carbon clutch differential, limited to 75 examples. The chassis gains a widened racing-spec front track, bespoke DGR computer-controlled active coilover suspension with a hydraulic nose lift system, and Brembo GT-R brakes (355mm front, 345mm rear, with an optional CCMR carbon setup), riding on Gunther Werks' own 18-inch forged magnesium and carbon fiber or forged aluminum wheels.

GWR
Limited series (40)The GWR represents what Gunther Werks now calls "the definitive 993," a naturally aspirated evolution producing 500 horsepower at a curb weight of just 2,400 lbs, limited to 40 examples worldwide. Positioned as the spiritual successor to the original Coupe formula, it pushes the naturally aspirated flat-six concept further with a lighter build and more aggressive output, aimed at buyers who want the highest expression of Gunther Werks' non-turbocharged philosophy.

GWX
Limited series (3)The GWX sits apart from the rest of the lineup as Gunther Werks' experimental, invitation-only division, offering true one-of-one commissions built through direct collaboration between the client and the factory with nothing off the menu. Rather than following a fixed specification, each GWX is conceived as a fully bespoke masterpiece, drawing on the engineering and craftsmanship developed across the F-26, Turbo, GWR, Speedster and Coupe programs to create a build unique to a single owner's vision.

F-26
Limited series (26)The F-26 sits at the top of the naturally-turbocharged range as the marque's most extreme build, powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo flat six co-developed with Rothsport Racing that produces 1,000 horsepower at 7,600rpm and 750 lb-ft of torque at 5,600rpm through a reinforced six-speed manual, rear-wheel drive and a limited-slip differential, with styling that pays tribute to the Porsche 930 Flachbau and 935 racers. The 993 steel chassis is reinforced for a 200-percent increase in rigidity, extended 30mm in wheelbase for better weight distribution, and clad entirely in carbon fiber panels and doors, riding on JRZ electronic suspension front and rear with 381mm front and 355mm rear CCMR brakes, all at a curb weight of just 2,750 lbs, limited to 26 examples.

Speedster
Sold out (25)The Speedster takes that same 435-horsepower naturally aspirated platform and removes the roof entirely, built for open-air driving while retaining the Coupe's carbon fiber construction and handcrafted cabin. Limited to 25 examples like its hardtop sibling, it trades outright coverage for open-cockpit theater, aimed at owners who want the visceral engine note and wind-in-hair immediacy of a vintage Porsche without sacrificing any of the modern chassis and build-quality improvements that define the marque.

Coupe (400R)
Sold out (25)The Coupe, the marque's original build (previously known as the 400R), reimagines the 993 with 435 horsepower, a carbon fiber body and a fully bespoke interior, limited to just 25 examples, and remains the purest expression of the company's founding philosophy of pairing analog driving feel with modern engineering precision.
