Russell Built Fabrication

Russell Built Fabrication is the shop that arguably started the modern Safari 911 trend. Founder TJ Russell spent nine years building chassis for Singer before striking out on his own in Sun Valley, California, debuting his first build, a 964 Cabriolet dubbed Baja 911, at the 2019 SEMA show to widespread attention. The Safari Sportsman package that followed, long-travel suspension, skid plates, roof rack and desert-ready bodywork over a 911 or 964, has since been echoed by dozens of imitators worldwide, but Russell Built remains the reference address for the genre it helped invent.
