DRONIA Sportwagen

Dronia Sportwagen has spent three decades as a Porsche-only independent, working from Gau-Algesheim between Mainz and Bingen on everything from air-cooled classics to the current water-cooled range. The workshop covers servicing and inspection, engine and gearbox rebuilds, accident repair, complete rebuilds and restoration to customer specification, alongside performance work, support for professional race teams and its own trackday and events programme. The house project is the 964 Clubsport 82N, finished in Sternrubin, a deliberately purist build with circuit-focused chassis and damper work that stays registered for the road. Depth of engineering rather than a signature model is the appeal, which is the usual pattern for German workshops that grew out of servicing rather than design. The shop is a sister company to Manufaktur 964.
