Christian ABT Classic

🇩🇪 Kempten · Germany

Kempten based workshop carrying a DTM driver's name, whose 9RS turns the last air-cooled 993 into a sub-1,100kg tribute to the 1973 Carrera RS.

Christian Abt Classic operates from Kempten in the Allgäu, run by managing director Sebastian Riedl and trading on the racing name of Christian Abt, who finished second overall at the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2006 in a 911 GT3. The everyday business is classic Porsche and Ferrari work, with engines, gearboxes and suspension rebuilt in house alongside restoration, race support and its own upholstery shop. The 9RS grew out of a project named for Abt's birth year and honours the last air-cooled 911. A 993 gains rear arches widened using original panels, a reworked ducktail, carbon front end and engine lid, and a target weight below 1,100kg, on 18-inch centre-lock forged wheels, Bilstein and NTP coilovers with Eibach springs, and Recaro Podium Carbon seats. Sales opened in late 2023, with a second location at Motorworld Mallorca.
