Built By Legends

Built By Legends was founded by Masaharu Kuji and Katsu Takahashi, the team that spent two decades bringing Japan's Best Motoring and Hot Version videos to an overseas audience. Their workshop in Saitama now applies that insider knowledge to the Nissan Skyline GT-R. Each car is stripped to a bare shell, seam-welded for extra stiffness and rebuilt with partners from the top of Japanese tuning, most notably Mine's, which supplies hand-built RB26 engines. The R34 shown at SEMA 2024 makes around 650hp through a Getrag six-speed, sitting on Aragosta suspension with AP Racing brakes and Rays wheels. R32 and R33 packages are also offered, with a Spoon-developed Civic in the pipeline. The definitive address for a GT-R rebuilt to modern standards.
