Founded by Paolo Garella, formerly of Pininfarina's special projects division, MAT builds the New Stratos, the Ferrari 430-based revival of Lancia's wedge icon, alongside engineering work for other low-volume manufacturers. Based in Turin, the historic heart of Italian coachbuilding, MAT represents the industrial-grade end of the restomod spectrum: proper prototype development, homologation expertise and manufacturing depth rather than a workshop operation. The New Stratos remains one of the most coveted modern recreations ever made.
