Garage Italia

Garage Italia was founded in Milan in 2015 by Lapo Elkann as a design and customisation house rather than a conventional restomod workshop, and its Fiat 500 Spiaggina reflects that lineage. The open-top 'beach car' derivative of the original 500 is rebuilt with an electric drivetrain and quick home charging, with a design-led finish refreshed each year around Milan Design Week. A four-wheel-drive Panda restomod follows a similar brief: playful, compact and unmistakably Italian. Where most builders chase horsepower, Garage Italia sells atmosphere, La Dolce Vita rebuilt for a modern, largely electric era.
