Envisage Group's restomod debut: a lightened, 185bhp Austin-Healey 100 built ten miles from where Donald Healey made the original.

Caton is the restomod brand of Coventry engineering house Envisage Group, launched with the Healey by Caton: a reimagined Austin-Healey 100/4 BN1 built barely ten miles from where Donald Healey developed the original prototype. The 1950s roadster is stripped to a bare shell and rebuilt with a tuned four-cylinder engine lifted from 90hp to around 185hp, lightened bodywork bringing weight down to roughly 920kg, and modern suspension and brakes hidden beneath period-correct lines. Production is capped at 25 cars. It's a small, engineering-led debut from a company more used to prototyping for others, applied for once to a car of its own.
