Vehicle Experts works out of Hainburg an der Donau, east of Vienna, where Florian Scheuer builds air-cooled 911s under three headings: Masterpiece backdates, lighter Outlaw conversions that rework selected areas rather than the whole car, and straight period-correct restorations. The engineering position is deliberately contrarian. Add-on panels are made in steel, not carbon, on the argument that it preserves the original aesthetic and lets any Porsche centre anywhere repair a damaged car, which matters because the stated goal is a fully road-legal daily driver rather than a show piece. Much of the detail is designed and made in house, including hand-built rev counters produced by a Swiss watch manufacturer, bespoke mirrors, exhausts, wooden or acrylic shift knobs, inductive charging, heated and ventilated seats. Each build carries a mythological name, from Kratos to Poseidon, and a dozen are documented so far.
