S-KLUB LA

S-KLUB LA is the work of John Sarkisyan, whose roots in Southern California's competitive show car scene stretch back to the mid-1990s and multiple Best of Show wins. The workshop's signature builds take the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing and Speedster and widen them dramatically over a bespoke tubular chassis, swapping the original inline-six for General Motors LS V8 power. Its SEMA debut, 'Le Bleu,' stretched fiberglass Gullwing bodywork over a modern SLK55 AMG donor, a mix of eras that has become the shop's calling card. Equal parts hot rod and design statement, S-KLUB LA builds cars meant to be seen as much as driven, a distinctly Los Angeles take on the Mercedes restomod.
