Lisbon's Land Rover specialist: frame-off Defender and Series restorations built as much for looks as for the trail.
Founded in Lisbon in 2012 by Ricardo Pessoa, CoolnVintage treats the Land Rover Defender and Series trucks less as off-roaders and more as design objects. Every commission is a complete, frame-off rebuild, roughly ten trucks a year, with painstaking bodywork, tailored upholstery and a finish closer to a concours restoration than a workshop refresh. The company has grown into something of a lifestyle brand, running a boutique retreat on Portugal's Atlantic coast alongside the workshop, and its trucks have travelled as far as expedition routes across Africa. A rare Iberian voice in a segment dominated by Britain and North America.
