🇬🇧 Hinckley, Leicestershire · United Kingdom

Cult British restomod house. Bespoke ground-up builds famed through their YouTube workshop series (Gordon Murray is a client).

Retropower is a Leicestershire workshop founded in 2009 by brothers Nathaniel and Callum Seviour, built on a simple idea: reimagine classic cars as genuine one-offs rather than catalogue conversions. The company deliberately avoids repeating itself, taking on an unusually broad range of machines, with recent builds spanning a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro, an Alfa Romeo GT Junior, a Lancia Stratos and a Mercedes W111. Every project is stripped to bare metal and rebuilt in-house, with hand-formed steel or composite bodywork, bespoke suspension, unique engine builds and interiors crafted entirely on site, tailored down to the smallest detail for each owner. The results have drawn serious praise, including from Gordon Murray, and a following well beyond the usual restomod crowd. For clients who want a truly individual car and see 'bespoke' as too small a word, Retropower is one of the most versatile and admired names in the British scene.
